• NYO-USA: Now Recruiting for 2014

    The 2013 National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America will meet for the first time this July before embarking on an international tour. However, we are already recruiting young instrumentalists, ages 16–19, for next year. In 2014, the United States will meet its youth orchestra through a coast-to-coast tour with dynamic conductor David Robertson and virtuoso violinist Gil Shaham. The application period begins August 1, 2013, but the application and audition requirements are already available online. It’s never too early to start preparing!

    Several of the orchestral excerpts required for the 2014 applications are featured in our Berlin Philharmonic Woodwind and Brass Master Class series on YouTube. Check out the videos below for inspiration.
