At the end of each Carnegie Hall intermission, our ushers play a four-note melody on small chimes to let concertgoers know that intermission is winding down and it’s time to return to their seats. Now is your chance to submit your own version of the chimes melody.
This week, take part in our chimes activity on Facebook and Twitter for a chance to have your four-note composition performed by a Carnegie Hall usher during intermission of the National Youth Orchestra of the USA’s Carnegie Hall debut on July 22.
Names of Notes
Comment on Facebook or respond on Twitter @carnegiehall with your four-note composition by listing your arrangement of the names of notes, solfège syllables, or corresponding colors.
